Creative writing competition?

I have a daughter who wants to join a writing competition. She is 12 years old but is good at writing. If possible the competition should be about anything and not a shirt story. It has to be for 2013-2014

Maybe she could write about her father and his key stage 2 maths homework while managing to have a child older than himself.
A kind of Daddy Who....time lord.
