This scholarship is for natural redheads. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be high school juniors or seniors who are applying to a two- or four-year college. Applicants must have a GPA above 2.5 and reside in the United States. As part of the application, applicants must submit two photos of themselves to prove their hair color: one from when they were a child and one from present day.

To enter this contest, applicants must submit a short essay that addresses, “What do we discover about time, times, or timeliness from reading Pride and Prejudice?” Essays must be six to eight pages in length, double-spaced, and in 12 point type.

To apply, applicants must portray a historical character in a digital video of 1 to 3 minutes in length – no cartoon or movie characters will be accepted.
